Our A-Frame houses
– honest architecture.
Our A-Frames: Sustainable flexibility in timber-frame construction
The timber-frame construction uses a load-bearing frame structure made of wood and steel, which makes it possible to create spacious, open surfaces. This construction method offers a high degree of flexibility in the use of the rooms and can be easily adapted to changing needs (segment construction).
The skeleton consists of structural beams and wooden elements (floor/walls) arranged in a triangular shape, which form a self-supporting construction. This can be placed on the ground or on existing masonry without anchoring on expensive foundation, which is particularly advantageous when renovating or renovating old buildings, small houses (Stöckli) or ruins. This type of construction largely eliminates invasive interventions in nature, which saves costs and results in ecological advantages.
In modular construction, the volumes between the wooden frame beams are formed by wooden panels with their integrated insulation and functional module elements. This technology enables both flexible architectural design and an efficient climatization.
The join- and fastening concept of the elements and the bearing system of the frame structure promote both the natural breathing of the materials and their expansion due to temperature and humidity influences. This enables the longevity of the whole construction.
Walls and roofs can be individually adapted - for example with added fixed glazing, folding roof segments or PV solar modules. In addition, the house can be extended if necessary (segment construction) and supplemented with a terrace, a balcony or a pergola.
Robustness, versatility
and functionality
– a true all-rounder.

With natural materials: sustainability for a home in harmony with nature.
Naturally materialized
means the use of honest materials and the avoidance of artificial post-treatments. "Breathing instead of sealing".
Wood fascinates with its uniquely positive charisma as a natural and renewable building material and allows, by its nature, a long-lasting construction. It smells good, feels comfortable and creates a healthy indoor climate. This makes timber constructions not only a technique rich in tradition, but also a future-proof one.

Type of wood: spruce/fir Country of origin: AT, CZ, DE, FI, SE, SK, IT Low-emission wood material, Nature Plus certified, PEFC certified, SQS-PEFC-COC-43617
Naturally connected
We choose the ideal glass combination for the respective application, whether in particularly warm climates and/or intense sunlight. Climate conditioning costs are reduced and the room can be more easily kept at a comfortable temperature.

Naturally protected
Insulation made of solid wood panels and Swiss sheep's wool or rock wool. Sheep's wool is naturally renewable, 100% biodegradable (can be reused as fertilizer, among other things), neutralizes household toxins by breaking down the sheep's wool fiber, is breathable and ensures clean, naturally regulated air. Tested thermal conductivity (panels 0.036/fleece 0.038). Protected against rotting thanks to treatment with certified moth protection. No formation of toxic gases, difficult to burn. Alternatively, we can also use rock wool on request, also a natural product, which protects against cold and heat and helps conserve room temperature leveled. It also significantly reduces heating costs. Rock wool ensures a pleasant, healthy room climatization: Permeable to water vapor, resistant to mold, rot and vermin.
